Our mission

The procedure is solved. The work around it is not.

Over 100 million surgeries happen in America every year. The procedures themselves are highly standardized. The work around them is not.

Scheduling, coordination, documentation, patient communication, follow-up care: hundreds of operational tasks determine whether a procedure runs smoothly, yet most are still managed manually.

The cost is enormous. Clinicians spend too much time coordinating care instead of delivering it. Patients face delays and confusion. And the data from every procedure rarely helps improve the next one.

It doesn't have to be this way.

Dr. Peter Pronovost

Dr. Peter Pronovost proved that. By introducing a simple checklist for a common ICU procedure, he reduced infections to near zero, saving more than 1,500 lives and over $100 million. He didn't change the procedure. He changed the system around it.

Dr. Peter Pronovost

That idea is the foundation of Bluevia. Our CEO's last venture, Heading Health, performed more than 10,000 procedures and saw the same problem firsthand: talented clinicians spent much of their day navigating operational complexity instead of caring for patients.

We're building the operating system for procedural care.

Bluevia coordinates the work around every procedure, bringing consistency, automation, and intelligence to processes that have depended on manual effort. Clinicians get more time for patients, organizations run more efficiently, and every procedure helps make the next one better.

Procedural medicine should learn from every procedure. We're building the infrastructure that makes that possible.

This is our mission.
